ラーチバレーの旅

Hello, it's Chris from Yamnuska Mountain Tours again. Today is my second day enjoying the Canadian Rockies with the Hosokawas. We drove 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to the Moraine Lake parking lot that can only be accessed by tour companies like us. Our goal today is Sentinel Pass on the Larch Valley Trail.

こんにちは、ヤムナスカ マウンテン ツアーズのクリスです。 今日は細川家と一緒にカナディアンロッキーを楽しむ2日目です。 車で1時間10分、私たちのようなツアー会社のみがアクセスできるモレーンレイクの駐車場に到着しました。 今日の目標は、ラーチ・バレー・トレイルのセンチネル・パスです。

After the switchbacks in the forest the alpine views are great! The valley of the 10 peaks.

Lots of Marmots today.　今日はマーモットがたくさんいました。

From Minnestimma Lake we can see our final objective, Sentinel Pass.

ミネスティマ湖からは、最終目標であるセンチネル峠が見えます。

Fossils on the trail.　登山道にある化石。

Great views.　素晴らしい景色。

　

We made it! We can see both Larch Valley and Paradise valley from our Lunch spot.

やった！ランチスポットからはラーチバリとパラダイス渓谷の両方が見えます。

My favourite alpine plant is the Western Anemone, it is the first to grow when the snow melts, has the biggest flower, then has several stages as a seed head. Looks like it has many hair styles!

私の好きな高山植物はウエスタンアネモネです。雪が溶けると最初に成長し、一番大きな花を咲かせ、その後は綿毛を作るまで変化をしていきます。ヘアスタイルも色々あるみたいですね！

Today we walked 12.49km and elevation gain of 754m.

今日は12.49km、獲得標高754mを歩きました。
