Lake O'Hara July 24th 2011

It was a picture perfect day today at Lake O'Hara! Blue skies, sunshine and great hiking. We walked up to Lake Oesa first, enjoying all the flowers and chipmunks along the way. Once we got to Lake Oesa we had a leisurely lunch then proceeded along the high alpine route of Yukeness Ledges towards Hungabee Lake and Opabin Plateau. The views throughout the day we magnificent and the highlight was a rare encounter with a white mountain goat on the way down west Opabin trail! We was eating the nice green grass alongside the trail! What a sight! Yet another spectacularly beautiful day at Lake O'Hara!
